Asbury is a United Methodist church and our name comes from the first consecrated Methodist Bishop to the American Colonies, Francis Asbury. We are proud of our heritage and we hold true to our Methodist beliefs.

Asbury Church is a bible believing fellowship where the Scriptures are taught and preached. We believe that God has fully revealed Himself in Jesus Christ. God’s Word is truth and it is our guide for faith and practice.

Our desire is to walk in the Holy Spirit, thus we believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit who is promised to every believer. The Spirit-filled life is a life of purpose. It is being made like Christ; shaped into His image.

As you read the following pages you will get a glimpse – a feel of what we believe as a church: but I would like to invite you to come and visit us and get to know us in person. We believe that Jesus loves and accepts each one of us where we are, and when we give our lives to Him, He begins the process of changing us into what He created us to be.
