Hello Everyone-

Here are a few things you should know about as you enter in your weekend.

Lifegroups- We believe in community at Asbury Church. Our intentional communities are called Lifegroups. If you’d like to get connected to a group that studies, prays, and socializes together, contact me, jskillen@asburychurch.org.

Prayer Partnerships- On September 12^th, the Breakthru Campus is going to match prayer partnerships after both the 9:15am and 10:45am services. People interested in a prayer partnership will be matched with one other person who will commit to pray, communicate, and encourage him/her on a regular basis. Mark September 12^th on your calendar and be ready to be matched with a fellow prayer partner.

Wednesday Night Zone starts September 8^th- Asbury’s Wednesday night programming, consisting of Children’s and Youth activities, Adult Bible Study classes and Support Groups, will begin this Wednesday September 8^th. Check out the Asbury Website and Faith Development Page for more details.

10:45am Breakthru Service Greeters Needed- We are looking for people interested in greeting and ushering at the 10:45am service on Sunday mornings. A greeter serves on an alternating schedule and serves twice a month. Every greeter who serves gets a sweet, black, Breakthru T-Shirt for their time. You know you want one. One-on-One Leaders Needed- We are looking for adult leaders to meet with youth and children for support, education in the faith, etc. A leader in the One-on-One ministry will seek to meet with a student 1-2 times a month. If you have any interest in becoming a leader in the One-on-One ministry, please contact Pastor Joe, jskillen@asburychurch.org.

Nursery Worker for the Linwood Ministry Center- The Linwood Ministry Center is looking for a helper in the nursery to serve on Sunday mornings. If you have an interest in helping in the Linwood Ministry Center, please contact Nick Talbot, ntalbot@asburychurch.org, for more details.

Flag Football- It is time for Flag Football to start up again- we are about 3 weeks out and the weather is becoming Football weather!  If you are interested in playing, please send Pastor Joe your names and I will get you signed up on a team. Games will be on Sunday afternoons.
