Dennis and his wife, Ladonna, have ministered in the Kansas West Conference of the United Methodist Church for over 20 years, serving first at Arlington and Abbyville United Methodist Churches. From there, they served the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Abilene, which was one of the fastest growing United Methodist churches in Kansas. Presently, they serve the growing Asbury Church in Wichita.

Of particular interest to Dennis is church growth and renewal, which have been priorities in his ministry. He has conducted numerous evangelistic meetings and has been involved as a speaker at summer camps, youth rallies, family camps, etc. In recent years, he has been involved with overseas mission trips to Sudan, Kenya and Zimbabwe. He is also an instrumental player in founding and nurturing Asbury Churches multi-campus growth, which currently consists of 4 campuses. Central Campus is our original and current location. West Campus services are currently held at Explorer Elementary School in Goddard but will soon commence building their own site at 119th street and Pawnee. Linwood Campus is held at the site of Zion UMC near Hydraulic and Lulu streets. Breakthru Campus is held on the Central Campus location in the gymnasium.

A graduate of Asbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky and Candler School of Theology, Atlanta, Georgia, Dennis served for a number of years as a youth pastor before he became the pastor of a church. His warmth, humor and dynamic preaching abilities have brought him a wide audience. Dennis is a trained Growth Plus Consultant and a recognized leader in growth and evangelism.

Dennis currently serves on several committees of the KS West Conference providing leadership expertise to many areas.
