We believe that Christian giving is an important and essential expression of our faith. The Endowment Association provides the opportunity for us to plan our giving and to perpetuate our Christian stewardship beyond our lifetimes through bequests, donation, and gifts. All who give should have assurance that their gifts will be managed safely and used for the purposes intended.

The Endowment Association is managed by a seven-member Board of Trustees elected by the Charge Conference. The Board functions in accordance with the Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws. All bequests, donations, and other gifts are invested in a fund which is managed by the Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation, Inc. the principal amount of the fund will always remain intact.

Expenditures may only be made from the earnings produced by the fund, to be used for:
- Assisting those entering and/or studying for the ministry, Christian education, or Christian counseling.
- Assisting, engaging in and encouraging missionary work locally and worldwide.

The Asbury UMC Endowment Association provides the opportunity for each of us to make a lasting contribution devoted exclusively to supporting the ministry and mission of the church.

The legal name to be used is “Asbury United Methodist Church Endowment Association.”
