These paraphrased words from John Wesley help explain what our Ministry and Mission Funds or Apportionments do regarding ministry in the United Methodist Church.

The Kansas West Annual Conference budget is distributed into the following areas of funding. These funds represent the hands-on and administrative ministry areas of our conference.

Conference Benevolence funds the program ministries of the conference and the Connectional Ministries.

General Church Apportionments fund the denomination’s ministry around the globe and the administration that makes this work possible. This includes the Black College Fund and Africa University Fund.

Jurisdictional Apportionments provide funding to jurisdictional ministries and the administration of the jurisdiction.
