TRANSFORM STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN
PHASE ONE: Existing Debt Retirement

The immediate goal of Asbury Church is to retire the current mortgage debt from previous Central Campus expansion and remodeling projects. The current debt on mortgage is $250,000.

The goal would be to pay the current mortgage off by August 2011. In November 2011, our mortgage note comes due. At that time, Asbury Church would have to renegotiate the loan if it is not paid off entirely.

On Sunday, February 6th, Senior Pastor Dennis Wallace issued the $500 challenge. If 100 Asburians paid $500 towards the debt retirement by the end of the February 2011 Transform Sermon Series, he will double his amount to $1,000!

On Sunday, March 6th, pledges towards the Debt Retirement will by received from you, those who call Asbury home! The giving period for this retirement campaign will be from March 6th to August 6th.

Fact:

If 500 Asbury families would give $500, we would be able to retire the $250,000 debt! Look at it another way…If 500 households would give $84 per month for six months, we would retire the debt. We realize some of you may not be able to give that much, but our desire is that EACH family would give something. We also realize that God has put some in a position to give more and appreciate your generosity, as well. Won’t you prayerfully consider what amount you can give?
