Asbury Adventures: Women's Trip to Pawhuska, Oklahoma
Asbury Women...are you ready to hit the road? Save the date of Thursday, July 20th for a Bus Trip to Pawhuska, OK and an adventure at Ree Drummond’s Mercantile. Linwood Backpack Project
Make a Difference in a Child’s life! Once again, Asbury is helping the kids at Linwood Elementary be ready to learn with backpacks full of school supplies. Pray about contributing to make a difference in the lives of these great kids at Linwood Elementary. Backpacks will be available for pick-up after the worship services on July 23rd. Community Block Party
Asbury Church will host a Community Block Party on Saturday, September 16th from 3-6pm. The entire community is invited to join us for this afternoon of fun, food AND great prize give-aways (including an IPAD MINI). Entertainment will also be included with a petting zoo, covered wagon rides bouncey houses and great music. The Community Block Party is a FREE community event for people of all ages.
Asbury Church has made it’s home at 15th & St. Paul since 1965. The purpose of this event is to engage with the people and families in the community surrounding the Church to build relationships, relax and have fun with our neighbors.
We have also partnered with many businesses in the surrounding area. The partnerships involve prizes, services and promotional consideration. We grateful for the businesses’ willingness to join us to provide this event for the community. The 2017 Nehemiah Project is scheduled for September 29th through October 1st. The annual Nehemiah Project takes the home of a complete stranger and through the efforts of a troop of volunteers, remodels it, helping that individual break the chains of disrepair to the home as well as emotional discouragement. We ask that you be in prayer for possible families who might be nominees for our 2017 Nehemiah Project. Applications will be to be accepted July 9th-July 30th.
