Kids Have Fun on Sunday Mornings at Asbury Church

Sunday School Classes

Come worship with us and experience God’s love. Please join us on Sunday mornings to learn all about God through His Holy Word. For safety purposes, stop by the Children’s Check-In, located at the North-East entrance, to register your child. Once registered, they will be able to Check-In on Sunday mornings through the computers. This process is quick, easy and provides a high level of security for your children. For more information about Sunday School at Asbury Church, please contact Patty Morris, or call the Asbury Church Office at  316-942-1491. We’ll see you Sunday morning!

Nursery Care for Your Child

Asbury Church offers Nursery Care for infants, crawlers, walkers and toddlers. Our nursery consists of babies two years and younger. Children in Nursery Care at Asbury get the same great love and care as the older kids! Age-appropriate activities, lessons and snacks are provided. As with all children’s workers, nursery staff are required to complete Asbury’s childcare-worker training and background checks are performed to guarantee the safety of your child.

Fifth Family Sunday

Fifth Family Sunday is a time when families will worship together in the Asbury Worship Services. It will occur any time there are five Sundays in a month, which happens only four or five times a year. Please don’t worry about your child being loud or disruptive. They are kids and it will be great to have them in the service. We will still offer Adult and Children’s Sunday School Classes at the 9:30 hour – but for the 8 and 10:45am services we would like you to come and worship as a family. The 10:45am Children’s Church and Can Do Kids will not meet, as we hope your family will worship together at one of our 10:45am worship services. Fifth Family Sunday will include children 3-year-olds to 5th grade. Children birth to two years will stay in our Sunday school classrooms during the 10:45am worship service. We welcome any comments or ideas you may have to make the Fifth Family Sunday a great family experience. If you have any questions, please contact Patty Morris.

Safe Kids

Our ultimate goal at Asbury Church is to provide a safe place for kids to be transformed by the power and love of Jesus Christ!

We know how important it is to you that your child is in a safe environment. That is why Asbury Children’s Ministry has adopted the SAFEKID policy. This is to ensure your child is safe at all events and programs.

Please make sure you have filled out a registration card. These cards tell us where parents will be at any given time – this is important information.

Asbury uses computer software to check your child in and out from an Asbury activity. Your child receives a name tag and you receive a ticket with your child’s information on it. No child will be released without matching your parent ticket with the child’s name tag.

If at any time you have questions or concerns about our SAFEKID policy or anything Children’s Ministry related, contact Patty Morris or call the Asbury Church Office at 316-942-1491.

Thank you for trusting your child with us.
