God is on the move and each week we want to testify to the work He is doing here at Asbury Church. As you know, it’s all about the story. We want to share your story, so send a picture and story to Sarah (sarah.brooks@asburychurch.org) and it will be featured here each week.

If you attended Mary Terry’s celebration of life on Wednesday, you might have noticed the amazing selection of cookies. We put the word out that cookie donations were needed, and Asbury Church, you came through. Thank you for always being a people who step up, help out and bless!

The Asbury Staff teamed up to share the ashes this last Wednesday morning from 7-10am. What a blessing it was to begin Ash Wednesday with ashes, worship, prayer and time to reflect. We welcomed more than 10 people -- even a few new faces. Thank you to everyone who stopped in to receive ashes.

Huge shout-out to Travis Hoover from the Asbury Outreach Ministry. Travis added a railing on the porch of Jan Utter’s home. What a blessing it is to know Jan can get in and out of her home safely! Thank you, Travis, for being the hands of God and helping out!

Last week Pastor Rick Just passed the shepherd’s hook to Pastor Clint McBroom in a moment led by the Heartland GMC Conference Superintendent, Jordan McFall.
We are so grateful for God’s hand in the leadership of Asbury Church -- Pastor Rick’s more than 10 years of service and the path in which Pastor Clint came to be the senior pastor of Asbury!

Words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation to you for welcoming me and Mary Lou as your pastoral couple here at Asbury Church 10 ½ years ago. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you. It is my sincere prayer that God will continue to bless and guide you by His Holy Spirit as we all continue to serve Christ and His Church. To God be the glory! Pastor Rick

The Asbury Staff treated Pastor Rick to one last lunch together this last week before his retirement on February 1st. Most of us have worked for Rick for many, many years. It was a great time to celebrate the time, share memories and laugh together! Thank you Rick, for your leadership and dedication to not only Asbury, but to us a staff.

Have you noticed the beautiful sky in the early morning or late evening? God’s been using all His colors -- it’s so beautiful. Take a moment and stand in awe of God’s amazing handiwork!

12/28/25: Christmas Eve at Asbury Church was full of music, worship, communion and candlelight. It was a wonderful time together as we celebrated the birth of Jesus. Thank you to all who joined us and to those who volunteered to help for this special evening.
