New Covenant Grocery Relief Ministry

Grocery Relief is a Life Support ministry of New Covenant Church. Asbury has partnered with New Covenant to provides a monthly box of food for 25 households in the Delano District. To be part of this program, families must apply and are requested to serve three hours of community service. New Covenant wants to build relationships with the families to offer more than just food, but also the hand of Jesus. Asbury provides the Grocery Relief 4 times a year.

Grocery Relief: Starts February 9th

Asbury’s time for supporting the New Covenant Grocery Relief Program is almost HERE! The Grocery Relief Board will be located in the Foyer to pick up a card with a food item listed on it NEXT Sunday, February 9th AND February 16th.

The items will be used to help families in the Delano area. Just pick up a card or two, purchase the items on the card, return the items to Asbury and help a local family have food.

Please have Grocery Relief items returned to the Church by noon on Sunday, February 23rd. We will also be collecting monetary donations to help cover the fresh food that we include for the families. If you would like to donate, please make note that it is for Grocery Relief.

If you have any questions about Grocery Relief, please contact Judy Beebe at 316-250-4408. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
