At Asbury Youth there are two main environments for our students; events & weekly programs. Each one is designed to strategically invite students on a journey into deeper relationships with their peers, leaders, and Jesus. Each environment is designed with every student in mind – the kid who’s grown up in the church and the first time visitor too!
Events: Throughout the year we’ll host a few different events designed to help students connect with their peers and our youth volunteers. Events are often the environment where students walk into our ministry for the very first time.
Weekly programs: We have two meeting that happen every week, Sunday morning from 9:15am-10:15 and Wednesday evening from 7:30-8:30pm. Right now we are meeting as one large group grades 6th-12th grade in the youth room. These are designed to help students grow in four key areas, we call them Spiritual Habits. If you continue to scroll down the page you’ll find our Parent Hub, there you’ll see our Parent Handbook that explains our Spiritual Habits in detail as well as our philosophy on discipleship, volunteering, and our safety guidelines.
We know your job isn’t always easy, but here’s what we want you to know: we’re here to help, in any way we can. Sure, we’re a “youth” ministry, but teenagers aren’t the only people we care about. We care about you too.
No matter how connected (or not connected) you are with our church, this Parent Handbook will show you some of the ways we’re trying to care for your kid and serve you at the same time.
Thanks for letting us be another voice in the life of your teenager. Your trust and partnership means a lot to us.
