Asbury Church is committed to teaching Biblical truth so that each person may know the true character of God and His will for their lives. With that commitment in mind, adults may choose from a variety of classes throughout the week. Sunday School Classes are available at 9:30am each week. On Wednesday evenings, we come together as a church family for a dinner followed by AWANA for kids and three to four class options for adults. And beyond these opportunities, a number of Bible studies are offered throughout the week. We invite you to learn more about the many ways you can grow your faith at Asbury Church!

Thursday A.M. Women's Study

The women of Asbury are invited to a Bible study on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30am in Room B111. Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study. A new, 8-week study  -- “Believing Jesus” -- on Thursday, September 12th at 9:30am in Room B111.

In “Believing Jesus,” Bible teacher and author Lisa Harper retraces the steps of the apostles in the book of Acts, while throwing in a few of her own crazy adventures along the way. The disciples didn’t have much of a road map after Jesus ascended to heaven, but God’s grace and spirit filled in the gaps as they moved forward. It required their willingness to risk everything to establish a new community that would change the future world. Believing Jesus will highlight both of Lisa’s strengths as she tackles every chapter of the Book of Acts with biblical wisdom and modern wit.

Special Class: Prophecies of the Bible

Prophecies of the Bible: The Smart Guide to the Bible Series

Revelation 19:10 states that “The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy”.  “The single most important theme in all the prophecies of the Bible is how God is going to save humanity though the Anointed One, the Messiah”, says author Gary Petty. The first prophecy of Jesus is in Genesis 3 and prophecy ends with the crowning of Jesus as Lord of Lords and King of Kings in Revelation. Prophecy details the first and second coming of Jesus, God’s purposes for Israel and God’s purposes for the church. Our Bible is the only book in the world that contains detailed prophecies that have been fulfilled in history,  which validates scripture. Join our class for an exciting adventure into the almost a third of the Bible rarely covered in today’s studies.

Class to begin Wednesday mornings  from 10 -11:30am starting September 18th and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8pm starting on September 19th in the Library. Class will be for 10 weeks. Prophecies of the Bible covers a overview from Genesis to Revelation, cost of book is $9. Contact Linda Stephen ( to sign up.
