Helping Kids Take a Step to Owning their Faith
At Asbury Kids there are three main environments for kids. Each one is designed to strategically invite kids and families on a journey into deeper relationships with their peers, our adult volunteers, and Jesus. They are designed with every kid in mind – those who have grown up in church and the first-time visitor.
Events: Throughout the year we’ll host a few big events for our kids to connect with each other, their families, and our leaders. We have some events designed to help families grow deeper in their faith and other events that our purely outreach for our community.
Weekly programs: These happen every week and we have several! Each of these programs are designed to help kids grow spiritually in four key Spiritual Habits. Our programs are:
- Sunday School- this is for kids K-5th grade and they meet all together in room D101. Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15
- Children’s Church – this is for kids K-5th grade and they meet during the 10:30 worship service. Kids are released to room D101 following the Children’s Moment during worship. Children’s Church meets on Sunday’s as well.
- Nursery: this is offered during Sunday mornings and for those adults attending an adult Wednesday evening study We have a team of Nursery Workers who are background checked and trained ready to welcome your children. Our nursery is for infants-4yrs of age.
- Kids’ Club – this is also for kids K-5th grade. Kids’ Club meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm-7:30pm. We meet as a large group for worship and the Bible Story then we break into grade level small groups (more info on that farther down!)
Small Group: These happen every week on Wednesday’s. Your child is put into a small group based on their grade level. Each group has two background checked adult volunteer who lead the kids in games, crafts, and discussion questions all designed to help them understand who God is.

Kingdom Kids
Wednesdays are for Kids K-5th Grade at Asbury
A FREE, weekly event for any elementary age (K-5th). Kingdom Kids meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30PM. This fall, we will be studying the Fruits of the Spirit.
