I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who works with Couples, Families, and Children, Adolescents and Adults.
My therapeutic focus is on the difficulties of life; Grief, stress, anxiety, trauma, childhood trauma in adults, victims of crime, those navigating suicide death of a family member, grief after a death, hospice and end of life issues, struggles with identity and goal setting.
Therapy groups are also available which include art and mindfulness for emotional expression and stress regulation.

Jewel Mann is a graduate student intern who is currently working towards her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Friends University.
Jewel received her Bachelors in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Kansas, and a certificate in Leadership and Biblical Studies from the Kanakuk Institute. Jewel enjoys working with children, teenagers, families, couples, and older adults. Jewel is compassionate towards human suffering and is hopeful that all people can experience healing. In her free time,
Jewel loves to spend time with her niece and three nephews, test out new recipes in her kitchen, travel, and get outside for a run or bike ride.
Ken Kooser is a graduate student intern who is currently working towards his Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Friends University. Prior to joining the Marriage and Family therapy program at Friends University Ken received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Criminal Justice and Human Resource Development. Ken is a US Air Force veteran who recently retired from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office. For the past 16 years Ken has worked with High School and Middle School students through his local church and loves to mentor young people. Ken is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families to help navigate their current life challenges, and to break down any stigmas associated with therapy. Ken has been married for over 25 years to the most amazing woman, Shonda, and they have been blessed to raise three incredible daughters. Last year they added a son-in-law to the family ranks and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first grandchild, who is due before the end of this year.
